"Brian's material ranged from ancient to modern, his Fylde guitar held a metronomic bass line, ringing chords and rippling trebles throughout. His tunings were precise and altered between songs.

"So, how can the evening be summarised. It was an excellent show, from a consummate professional. He made us laugh and think as well. A truly great artist, one we should cherish."
